Project Volunteer Help with the Foundation's public events
Project Coordinator
/Event Planner		 Act as the project lead in coordinating a public event for the Foundation. Some yearly fund-raising events are:
  • Wonderful Weekend of OZ events (Oct): evening entertainment, tours, exhibits, panels, receptions
  • Book signings
  • Gage birthday March 24
  • Or come up with your own event!
Cleaning house basic cleaning
Filing learn current filing system and keep current
Copy and make packets publicity materials, forms, brochures
Shoveling winter maintenance of sidewalks
Website maintenance as needed for updating information on website
Internet searching gathering information from the Internet

Ongoing Coordinator
Volunteer coordinator coordinate and organize all volunteer tasks
Public relations coordinator as needed for events and special occasions
Photographer for events and special occasions
Grants writer as needed to help with writing grant proposals
Newsletter editor twice-per-year newsletter
Tea organizer coordinate and hold regular teas at Gage house
Junior Docent Program coordinate youth volunteer program

One-Time Task
Design info packets design packets for donors and grant proposals
Newsletter layout develop a template for newsletter
PowerPoint presentation develop for use on TV and laptop away from house
Identify volunteers compile listing of volunteer opportunities available at colleges
Data entry of Gage’s writings for publication
Proofing of Gage’s writings for publication
Bulk mail as needed for bulk mailings
Technical assistance with digital camera, voice recorder, camcorder, TV
Website links compile and check list of links to put on website
Internet searching gathering information from the Internet
