With Mac Hudson, Michael Patrick Hearn and John Fricke

Scholars Hearn and Fricke and Baum descendant Hudson explore the cultural impact of the fourteen Oz books and their author. Baum married the youngest Gage daughter, Maud, in the home’s front parlor, and visited often during the five years the couple lived in Syracuse, including an extended visit during the summer of 1887 when he took the photos. The Gage Home is the only home in the country open to the public where Baum spent time.
